substituteskullJohn wakes up to Sherlock feeling under his clothes and a girl that looks a bit like Sherlock hanging out by the door. After being terrified of the flying polyps, he pulls rank on some guards and gets the trio outside to collect samples of one of the dead creatures. It's other worldly.
He and Sherlock head to the library where they find a strange book. Sherlock wisely takes it away from him.
And bump into Lestrade in the cafeteria.
And now John really wants that bloody book back! After he and Kenzi decide on calling Sherlock Fluffy and that they'll get a drink together, John almost beats Sherlock to get to the book.
He also grumbles a hello to a newly arrived Gabriel and then becomes literally attached to Sherlock Holmes. John is not happy that Kenzi's helped him procure restraints.
